Description
The book is divided into three parts: theory, emerging methods, and applications. In the theory part, the focus is on explaining the background and concept of multi-attribute decision-making. In the second part, frequently adopted and emerging multi-attribute decision-making methods are explained. The third part provides a deep insight into various methods with the help of numerical examples.
* Covers assessment of cyber-supply chain drivers, rotor failure applications, and data envelopment analysis.
* Illustrates fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution, and complex proportional assessment method.
* Covers practical applications from diverse fields including production engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering.
* Explains circular supply chain management, neutrosophic sets, vague sets, and outsourcing decisions in manufacturing.
* Presents topics such as evidential reasoning, grey relational analysis, and plithogenic sets.
The text is primarily written for graduate students and academic researchers in the fields of mechanical engineering, engineering mathematics, mathematics, engineering design, production engineering, manufacturing engineering, and industrial engineering.
