Memories of the field and riverbank are precious, and like all gems they deserve a rich setting. There could be a few better than this book, a perfect repository for those wonderful - and occasionally not so wonderful - days that enrich the sportsman's life. Rodger McPhail's illustrations are, as you would expect, superbly evocative and each page has ample space for the place, the people and the details of the day. Every page is illustrated with wildlife and sporting scenes by Rodger McPhail. With 240 pages this should last a season or two. Looking back over old fishing records and diaries brings forgotten days alive, and I'm not forced to record my blank days. A lovely gift! There can be no excuse for failing to keep all your sporting outings meticulously recorded with this beautiful gamebook. Intended for the all-round sportsman, the book is dotted about with illustrations of various types of quarry species by the well-known sporting artist Rodger McPhail and has ample space for date, location guns/rods, bag and comments.More details
