Description
In the busy modern world, overwhelmed with daily decisions about work, life and family, how often do we ponder: what is a good life? We can find the answer in ethics. Far from being a worthy and abstract branch of moral thinking, ethics is also about intimate needs, the things we enjoy and how we interact with people we know and like.
The Only Way Is Ethics is a thought-provoking and inspirational book that reconnects ethics richly and deeply to individual daily life. Acting as a guide in the major constructive tasks of our lives - as we go about trying to make a living, to form and keep close relationships, to have a good social life and cope with troubles, pressures and difficulties - The Only Way Is Ethics outlines seven areas of life in which we need to develop a new application for ethics: ambition, fear, sex, loyalty, pleasure, money and conviction.
Accessible and inspiring, this is a very modern handbook for living a good life.
