Description
After (quite literally) bumping into each other, the unlikely duo of Bat and Flamingo go on a journey to learn about each other's lifestyles and habitats. Bat has had enough of the dark and the damp and decides to fly out into the hot sunny day. But he discovers that a bat is not made for such climes. Blinded by the sun, he crashes into Flamingo, who is out doing a little photography. Flamingo takes Bat back to Bat's dark, damp cave, but when Flamingo shows Bat some photographs of Flamingo's home in the warm sunshine, they decide to go together and experience each other's way of life. This gorgeously illustrated picture book teaches children about friendship and differences.
