Dr.-Ing. Dieter Fritsch is Full Professor and Director of the Institute for Photogrammetry (ifp) at the University of Stuttgart, since 1992. He served six years as Rector of this university and is Academic Co-Founder of the German University in Cairo (GUC), Egypt. He is member of several steering committees and boards in academia and industry, just to name the chairman of the Board of Trustees of The ISPRS Foundation (TIF).
