Mel Friedman is a freelance journalist. He has four graduate degrees in international relations and political science from Columbia University. Ellen Weiss is the author of many children's books, and her spoken-word recordings have earned her a Grammy award and a Grammy nomination. She lives in New York City. Lynn Adams was born in Pennsylvania and graduated from Moore College of Art and Design. Her illustrations may be seen in Big Hand, Little Hand (Barron’s) and How Many Feet? How Many Tails? (Scholastic), as well as books from The Kane Press. In addition, her work has been published in Sesame Street Magazine and she has been designated Illustrator of the Month several times by Highlights for Children. Lynn’s home is Lakewood, Pennsylvania.
