Kornelia Freitag is Chair of American Studies at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. She has published Cultural Criticism in Women's Experimental Writing: The Poetry of Rosmarie Waldrop, Lyn Hejinian and Susan Howe in 2006.
Katharina Vester teaches American Studies at American University in Washington, D.C. Her 2007 dissertation, "A Taste of Power: Collaboration and Resistance in Culinary Texts", is a Foucauldian study of food discourses.
