A Gathering of Angels

Author Vicki Leland was a nurse in a busy Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in 2006--a particularly tough year--when she met five families whose babies had died in the NICU. They touched her life in unexpected and inspiring ways, and they became "angels" to--souls who appear in our lives at times of crisis and walk alongside us as we journey through grief.

In A Gathering of Angels, Leland has collected writings from these five women on different aspects of grief. The result is a heartfelt book that shows how real people respond to grief.
