Spiritual Autobiography

Charles de Foucauld returned to the Catholic faith after a period of spriritual unrest. He joined a Trappist monastry, before becoming a servant of the Poor Clares. He was ordained a priest and became a hermit. Since his assassination in 1916, missionary orders have been set up in his memory.
