Total Performance. That policy, dictated by Henry Ford IIthe Deuce, as he was known within Ford Motor Companyprovided the fixed star that guided the company through the wild, wonderful years of the classic muscle-car era. Total Performance led to the creation of the Ford Thunderbolt, an experimental drag-racing version of the Fairlane. Total Performance gave birth to the Mustang, a car that reinvented the concept of American performance. Total Performance paved the way for the 429 Super Cobra Jet version of the Torino, one of the fastest cars to be sold to the public. And Total Performance lives on to this day, in the form of the Mustang Boss 302 and Mustang GT. Ford Muscle Cars 2014 is the first calendar to celebrate the legendary performance monsters from Ford and Mercury.
