Description
Abbie Hoffman, Mick Jagger, Ken Kesey and Grace Slick are among the iconic 1960s figures immortalised in pictures and commentary by Altman, a legendary photographer from Rolling Stone magazine's early heyday. Juxtaposing tuned-in, turned-on and dropped-out Haight Ashbury hippies with immense history-making shots of concert and peace marches, The Sixties portrays the youth revolution in full swing.
