Description
'Well, that's a nasty thing to have on your breakfast-tray, I'm sure,' Mrs Cloud said. 'What do you want with that?'
'My husband gave it to me long ago. He taught me to use it; I've just been trying my hand. I'm a good shot still.'
'Well I never! Where have you been shooting may I ask?'
'Down at the bottom of the garden.'
'Fancy.' Mrs Cloud clicked her tongue in the same way that she clicked it when she was shocked by something she saw at the cinema. 'Well, I never. What next, I wonder'
'So do I,' Margaret said grimly.
