Along the way, he encounters a colourful cast of characters, earns blisters on both his feet and his pride, survives a disastrous LSD trip, and meets the mysterious Maria, a woman who both unsettles and liberates him.

Person
Anne-Lise Fleddum has a PhD in marine biology from the City University of Hong Kong, published several scientific articles in international journals and photographs of marine organisms in National Geographic. She has also previously worked as a diving instructor, Rudolf Steiner teacher, researcher, and as a senior advisor in Bellona where she developed the ecological concept "Ocean Forest". Now she works with businesses to reduce environmental toxins.
