The war against Germany was all but over, so Stalin turned his eyes to the next battleground - the heartland of America. His spies told him that the Americans were building a bomb, an atomic bomb. Once it was developed, the Soviet Union would never be able to catch up. The wreckage of a German U-Boat found off Cape Cod is only the first false clue left by Alek and Jada, Soviet agents, as they move across the United States towards Trinity - the first atomic explosion in the New Mexico desert.
