A royal family betrayed by one of its own. The story of a young prince, now king, journeying through the trials of hatred and tragedy and his quest to reclaim his royal birth right. And also save his people. The story tells of a prophecy and a family's struggle to maintain its heritage until the time comes for the chosen one to inherit the "Gift". But one member decides to take the prophecy into their own hands and unleashes terror on not only their family, but the people of the land as well. A child must become a man, but not just any man. His family hails from East Texas and Louisiana, which also contributes to his love of including nature in the stories from his imagination.
