Read and Write

"Headstart" is a home learning series which focuses on the key skills of the core subjects of the National Curriculum. These are skills which are tested nationally, and which attract most parental concern. The second phase of "Headstart" consists of six books for the 7-9 age range, Key Stage 2. Each of the books contains lively activities which develop skills and knowledge - with this book on writing looking at some of the different ways language is used and including activites to help develop writing skills. Notes for parents and an attainment target grid are included.
