Everything from Conan the Barbarian tales, Punisher comics, Julian May's classic time travel adventure series "Saga of the Exiles" through to PD James murder mysteries have been a powerful influence on David's writing. As a writer, David seeks that sweet spot between fast moving action and character moments inside a vibrant fantasy world. Watching TV in the dead of night, Demorn and The Asanti Series sprung into his mind, virtually unbidden and kicking ass. The Asanti Series began life as a comic outline but had grown into a novel within the first week. By the end of the first month, it was a trilogy. Now, David plans a seven book series and has the notebooks and glassy eyes to prove it! "Demorn: Blade of Exile" is the first book in the Asanti Series. Book Two, "Demorn: City of Innocents" followed in January 2016. David is currently working on Book 3 in the Asanti series, "Demorn: Soul Fighter" to be released later this year.
