Tater Bug Barnes is a normal ten-year-old boy who loves playing with his toys and his cat, Ringo. But Mom refuses to let him only do what he wants to do! Tater hates baths, cleaning his room, and following rules. So with his Mom always on his back to do chores and homework, Tater has decided he's done! D-O-N-E, done! He no longer wants to be a boy! He wants to be a cat! "I'd have it made then," he tells his cat, Ringo. "I wouldn't have to clean my room. I wouldn't have to pick up my toys. I wouldn't have to take a bath. I wish I was you.
