Kate Ferdinand is a much-loved TV personality and has quickly become one of the UK's most relatable women, having recently married professional footballer Rio Ferdinand and taken on the role of stepmum to his three young children. Their intimate documentary Rio and Kate: Becoming a Stepfamily aired on BBC One in 2020 with an incredible consolidated audience of over 7 million viewers. They welcomed their first baby together in 2020. Kate has since become the voice of blended families in the UK, and in December 2021 she released her new venture Blended, a platform for blended families to share their experiences and advice, and her podcast celebrating blended families. With her first picture book for children, The Family Tree, Kate aims help children of blended families feel seen, heard and appreciated.

Emma Randall was born and raised in Northamptonshire, where some of her earliest memories include scribbling away on reams of paper that her Dad would bring home from work by the box load, and writing her own stories. She l loves designing characters, detailed patterns and using bright colour palettes, working initially with lines and then bringing them to life using an eclectic array of paint, pens, pencil crayons and digital media. She lives on the outskirts of Bristol with her husband and three children.
