The sponsors were International Society of Horticultural Sciences (ISHS), International Commission of Agricultural Engineering (CIGR), European Society of Agricultural Engineers (EurAgEng), Godollo University of Agricultural Sciences, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, National Committee for Technological Development, Hungary. The venue of the Workshop was the Hotel Eben in Budapest and also the Campus of the Godollo University of Agricultural Sciences.
