This is a desktop reference comprising of statistics on the environmental performance of transport and important determinants of the transport system. Its purpose is to present indicators and other relevant data in the form of tables, maps and graphs. As far as possible, each of the major modes of transport (road, rail,inland waterways, aviation, maritime and pipelines are covered.
