Statistics on Science and Technology in Europe: Data 1985-1999

Since 1993, Eurostat's annual publication on research and development statistics, containing up-to-date statistics and indicators on both research and development and European patent applications, has reported key trends and developments in both the European Union and the European Economic Area. As well as presenting developments in R&D expenditure, R&D personel, Government R&D appropriations and patents, this publication covers other areas of interest to science and technology policy-makers and analysts.
