Regions 2000

The Statistical Office of the European Communities (Eurostat) presents up-to-date, comparable statistics relating to economic and social factors in the regions of the European Union. The main regional indicators are presented in a series of coloured maps. The publication contains a CD-ROM which provides regional statistical information from Eurostat's REGIO database. This edition extends its coverage to include the 10 candidate countries for EU membership from central and eastern Europe.
