Demographic Statistics: Data, 1960-99

This publication sets out data relating to the European Union and its 15 member states and also to other members of the European Economic Area plus Switzerland, as well as selected Central European countries, Cyprus and Malta. In this edition, the main provisional demographic indicators for 1998 are presented, together with an overview article on the demographic situation in the European Union. In addition, there is a review included of long-term changes in fertility in the EEA countries and Switzerland.
