Seismic Risk in the European Union: v. 1

During two review meetings held in Brussels in May 1996, new developments were presented on the determination and hazard assessment of seismic risk, as well as studies on the seismic behaviour and vulnerability of major structures and building in the broad field of earthquake resistant construction design. The need for the continuation of concerted research efforts in this field was stressed.
