Description
This book presents a collection of applications for assembly processes, in relation to manufactured components.
The two opening chapters detail the technical fundamentals and the programming basis of Siemens Solid Edge 2026.
The assembly of components is discussed in individual chapters, covering rigid and movable assemblies, bearing assemblies, and gear assemblies.
The assembly of components is described in detail step by step with program steps, adjustments and command functions, and supported by explanatory image sequences.
Finally, Chapter 7 provides an introduction to creating motion studies.
The content is based on Siemens Solid Edge 2026, but is largely version-independent.
One more personal note: this book is being published again through BOD, as it is not profitable for specialist publishers to publish highquality CAD books with a large number of pages for a smaller user base.
For buyers of this book, I offer the opportunity to order a free DVD upon presentation of the purchase confirmation.
The book-DVD includes the working files described in chapters 3 to 7.
Furthermore, the complete book is included in a color PDF format to mitigate the drawbacks of the grayscale version.
Readership:
Engineering students, graduates of master craftsman, technical, and technical colleges, trainees such as technical product designers and industrial mechanics, as well as teachers in the CAD field, continuing education, and retraining.
