Martina Endepohls-Ulpe. Apl. Professor at the University of Koblenz-Landau, Campus Koblenz, Institute for Psychology. Research topics are: Women and girls in science and technology, technology education, high ability (gifted children), gender differences in the educational system (especially the situation of boys).

Joanna Ostrouch-Kaminska. Associate professor and the chair of the Department of Research on Family and Social Inequalities, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. She is a convenor of the Network on Gender and Adult Learning in European Society for Research on the Education of Adults, as well as a member of the Presidium of Polish Educational Research Association. Her research interests focus on social and cultural aspects of gender, inequalities, adult learning, and family.

Josephine Nyaboke Arasa has a PhD in Educational Psychology, Advanced Diploma in Clinical Child Neuropsychology, M.Ed. in Educational Psychology and B.Ed. (Sc). Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Head of the Psychology Department at the United States International University - Africa (USIU). As an Educational Psychologist, she has vast experience in teaching in higher education, research in various topics, and community service. For the last 10 years, she has been training as an expert on quality assurance related issues for the Inter University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) and the Germany Academic Exchange Services (DAAD), commissions/councils in the region, institutions of higher learning and at international forums.

Rita Bencivenga's general research interests are in adult education, gender in higher education, and gender and technology. She completed her PhD at the University of Paris X, Nanterre, France. After teaching undergraduate, graduate and master courses at ISPEF, Institut des Sciences et Pratiques d'Éducation et de Formation, Université Lumière Lyon 2, France, she is since September 2018 MSCA Fellow at the Trinity Centre for Gender Equality and Leadership (TCGEL), Trinity College Dublin. Her current research activities focus on Feminist Institutionalism and Gender Equality in Higher Education and Small and Medium Enterprises.

Rachel Besson, PhD in Anthropology, is a member of Genre en Action and of the UNESCO Chair for training of development professionals of the University Bordeaux Montaigne. She currently holds a position as a pedagogical project manager in a training organization specialized in mental health and the medico-social sector. For more than 20 years, she has developed training courses on the themes of sexuality and mental and psychological disability, gender and gender relations for professionals in social and health-related fields.

Darlene E. Clover is Professor of adult education in the Faculty of Education, University of Victoria, Canada. Her areas of research and teaching include cultural leadership and adult and feminist arts-based education and research methods. In 2015, she co-edited a national book enTitled "Women, adult education and leadership in Canada". Darlene's current international research focuses on creative practice in art galleries and museums. Her most recent book on this topic is Adult education and museums: Animating social, cultural and institutional change (2016, Sense Publishing).

Lina Coelho is Assistant Professor of Economics and researcher at the Center for Social Studies, University of Coimbra. Her research interests are focused in the areas of Feminist Economics, Household Economics and Economics of Inequality. Lately, she has coordinated a multidisciplinary research project on money management in couple households, household economic decision making and the effects of the economic crisis in intra-household inequalities. She is a member of the editorial board of ex aequo, the journal of the Portuguese Association of Studies on Women (APEM).

Aneta Benkova Dimitrova is a professional with strong experience and knowledge on a strategically HR position, having a solid education both in human resource management and technical skills, possessing abroad HR experience with companies in a variety of business sectors and managerial skills as well as a business approach to the development of company. Main awards and achievements are Member of Bulgarian Association for People Management, ZONTA Club - St. Sofia and a Lecturer in Technical University of Sofia, New Bulgarian University, High School of Insurance and Finance, University of National and World Economy.

Monika Grochalska, PhD, academic teacher, researcher and coach working at the Faculty of Social Science of UWM in Olsztyn (Poland). Her research interests are rooted in the sociology of education and gender studies. Author of the monograph "Women in intimate relationships. The empirical and critical study" (2017) and president of the Association Kofe(m)ina (2009-2016) promoting the idea of diversity and equality with an extensive experience in a variety of educational activities addressed to the local community.

Cindy Hanson, PhD, Associate Professor and Director of the Adult Education and Community Engagement Unit in the Faculty of Education, University of Regina, Canada. Her research is community-based and feminist. She currently holds a Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada grant for national research on reconciling perspectives about the Indian Residential School compensations (and the IAP). She served as the President of the Canadian Research Institute for the Advancement of Women (CRIAW ICREF) from 2016-2018.

Michaela Heinecke-Müller, PhD, works as an Assistant Professor at the University of Koblenz-Landau, Institute of Psychology, Campus Koblenz in Germany. Studying in Bielefeld and Wuppertal, she specialized in the field of Work and Organizational Psychology, combined with the area of life-long learning and development. Her academic career was added by several years of freelancing experience, appointed by higher regional courts, public insurers as well as psychological service enterprises. Current research interests focus on transcultural approaches to personality, dealing with occupational concerns such as efficacy beliefs, learning motivation and job performance.

Elisabeth Hofmann, PhD in development economics, founding member and former Coordinator of Genre en Action, head of the UNESCO Chair for training of development professionals of the University Bordeaux Montaigne. Since 2009, she is a senior lecturer at the University Bordeaux Montaigne, IATU/STC, and researcher at the laboratory LAM (Les Afriques dans le Monde) at Sciences Po Bordeaux. She has substantial professional experience in development projects and gender, mainly as consultant and trainer.

Maria Aleksandrova Ivanova, PhD, Associate Professor. Scientific interests in the field of Development of modern educational technologies; Measuring the effectiveness of training and learning methods; Management of differences, incl. gender differences and equal opportunities policies, incl. immigrants, Roma and others; Management of organization changes and development of human resources - standards for competent execution, building of HRM systems; Transforming companies into learning organizations; Information technologies in HRM; Higher education and the European educational area; Lifelong learning.

Alexis K. Johnson is creative director for UK arts organisation AKarts, associate lecturer London Southbank University and a participatory artist. Her research areas are arts, equality and togetherness through mass participatory arts and adult learning. She has led a number of cultural programs that explore these themes, contributing to Brazilian Cultural Paralympics, UK Cultural Olympiad, European Capitals of Culture and British Council's West Africa Creative Cities.

Priscilla Wanjiru Kariuki is Professor of Psychology at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She received her PhD from the University of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1980. Her areas of specialization include social psychology, education, child development, cross-cultural psychology and gender analysis. Much of her research work revolves round the role of women in attempting to make the delicate balance between education, culture change and family stability in Kenya.

Susanne Kreitz-Sandberg is an associate professor for International and Comparative Education at the Department of Education, Stockholm University. She has conducted studies on youth and education in Japan, Sweden and Germany, touching on topics like multi-professional collaboration, gender in education and higher education. The author connected practical experiences of working with gender inclusion as a gender lecturer at Linköping University with theoretical approaches to gender in higher and adult education. Many of her publications are in the field of gender and education.

Melanie Pohl has a master's degree in Psychology, German Philology and Art Sciences. She is a PhD student and research assistant at the Department of Developmental Psychology at the University of Koblenz-Landau, Campus Koblenz. In her research on emotional reactions during reading, she focusses on gender differences and various aspects that might influence these. Further research interests are influence of education about emotionalization in media and the development of Language and emotion.

Sílvia Portugal has a PhD in Sociology. She is Assistant Professor at the School of Economics and Researcher at the Center of Social Studies - University of Coimbra. Her research discusses the relations between formal and informal care, using network analysis. She's been studying Portuguese social welfare system, giving special focus to women's work. Her more recent interests and research focus on the theme of disability and mental illness. Recent book: "Families and Social Networks. Strong ties in social welfare" (2014).

Claudia M. Quaiser-Pohl is Professor of Developmental Psychology and Psychological Assessment and dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University Koblenz-Landau in Germany. She studied psychology and medicine at the universities Marburg and Bonn, received her PhD at the Heinrich Heine University Duesseldorf and her postdoctoral lecture qualification (habilitation) at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. Her research topics are spatial cognition, i.e. mental rotation, assessment, development and gender differences, enhancement of mathematical and scientific abilities in early childhood, family development from a cross-cultural perspective and the empowerment of women in the STEM field.

Marialisa Rizzo is a PhD student in Science of Formation and Communication at the University of Milano-Bicocca. She studies informal education, in particular, informal gender education in different contexts and situations of daily life. For example, in this area, she published (in 2017), with Lisa Brambilla and Giulia Pozzebon: "Gender in contemporary Italian context. A focus on informal education and proposals for a gender sensitive approach through intergenerational and intercultural dimensions".

Kathy Sanford, EdD, is the Past President of the Canadian Association for the Study of Women and Education (CASWE/CSSE). She is a Professor at the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria.

Mirko Saunders, B.Sc., is PhD student in Psychology and head of the Laboratory for Biopsychological-Experimental Psychological Research at the University Koblenz-Landau (Institute of Psychology, Campus Koblenz) in Germany. His current research interests focus on strategies in mental rotation combined with eye-tracking, cross-cultural research and gender differences.

Cristina C. Vieira is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Coimbra, Portugal. Her research interests are related to gender and socialization in formal and non-formal contexts, across the lifespan. Her teaching areas also include quantitative and qualitative methodologies of scientific research in education. She is vice-president of the Portuguese Association of Studies on Women (APEM), member of the board of the Portuguese Association of Educational Sciences (SPCE) and member of the Steering Committee of European Society for the Research on the Education of Adults (ESREA).
