Walking with Jesus

In January 2025, the Orlando Church of Christ launched a church-wide series on the Gospel of Luke titled King Jesus. This devotional guide is a compilation of daily reflections originally shared on social media throughout the first half of the year. Each post was written to help the church - and anyone reading - walk closely with Christ, reflect on His words, and live under the reign of the true King.

Luke's Gospel is unlike any other. Written by a physician, a historian, and a devoted follower of Christ, Luke offers a detailed, orderly account of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. But more than history, Luke gives us a portrait of Jesus full of compassion, power, and purpose. He highlights the outcasts, uplifts the broken, and shows us the Savior who came "to seek and save the lost" (Luke 19:10).
