Countdown Cooking

This work is based on the ideas that people nowadays have limited time for cooking, that they are not interested in complicated cooking, and finally, that cooking has to fit in with other activities rather than dominate them. The book contains five main sections, each dealing with dishes and menus that require different amounts of time to prepare and cook. It covers instant 15-minute and one-hour meals to two-hour and leisurely meals, those which can be prepared in several stages or even over several days. Everything from quick mid-week meals to more ambitious dinner parties are catered for.
