The Real Jesus

Dissects the New Testament to determine the most plausible answers to the question of who exactly Jesus was. The author discovers that the four Gospels are in fact composed of eight different "gospels" - of the Jews, of Paul, of the Early Catholics, of the "Q" document, of Mark, Luke, Matthew and John. The book then looks at the way Jesus has been portrayed throughout the history of the Church, and the controversies that have arisen on its account. The author then concludes by testing the figure of the "real Jesus" against modern science and philosophy, and finding it emerge unscathed.
