Description
Jessie's Choice is a thriller set against the backdrop of a city living in fear of the killing spree of a serial murderer. Simon Edwards in his debut novel tells the tale of sixth-formers, Jessie Peters and Jack Walker, both socially inept and with tragic recent family history. He relates how they find each other and build a tender loving relationship but with unimaginable consequences. His use of terse short sentences ensures that the story moves along with terrifying rapidity and his dialogue is the dialogue of the contemporary street. Although this is the tale of two teenagers it will appeal to people of all ages who appreciate a fast paced thriller.

Simon Edwards was born in Liverpool, England, the place he still considers to be his home. From the tender age of six his burning ambition was to become a writer. He has, however, delved into a wide variety of varying projects for the likes of The New Everyman Youth Theatre and New Everyman Young Writers group as well as acting in plays produced by the BBC. He has a deep passion for music and follows artists ranging from the Beatles to Michael Jackson to Girls Aloud. He has put this hobby to good use presenting and producing radio shows at Broadgreen's Hospital Radio, as well as DJ'ing in Liverpool's clubs and festivals. He is a man of many talents but his first passion is his writing and 'Jessie's Choice' is his first novel.
