Encounters with Jesus

Written by Joel Edwards, this 6-week Lent study goes to the very heart of our Christian faith and the meaning of Lent. We now have an urgent mission: to help people rediscover the awfulness of that condition which separates us from the love of God and which makes the life, death and resurrection of Jesus so central to our faith - sin. With Psalm 51 running sequentially as a common thread through each of the six studies, providing an Old Testament complement to the New Testament encounters this study puts Jesus where He belongs, at the very centre of our thoughts.

Each study includes an opening icebreaker, suggested prayers and discussion starters as well as the main study, making it ideal for small groups. The material requires minimal preparation by the leader.
