Intellectual Property Lecture Notes

Lecture Notes are a resource for those studying and teaching law. Aimed primarily at students taking undergraduate or CPE courses, each title of the series examines a particular field of the law, with chapters for each of the major topics within the subject. Each chapter ends with a summary sheet giving an overview of the issues discussed. Intellectual property deals with the protection of ideas - a patent for a life-saving drug, the manuscript for a novel, or a brand-name. The laws that provide for protection of these ideas need to be as adaptable as the ideas themselves. This book describes the complex UK and EC law in this area.
