Isy Dunn is a Sydney-based Frenchie with a mission to make French cooking both fun and accessible, no matter where you are in the world. Inspired by the viral success of her recipes on @tastyfeedsdaily, she has gathered them into this book to share her passion for French cuisine. For Isy, cooking is deeply woven into the fabric of her life. It's more than just a hobby - it's a cherished part of her childhood, a link to her cultural heritage, and a daily source of joy. It's how she meditates, expresses creativity, and shows love. Isy was born and raised in France, in a family with a rich blend of cultures. Her mother was born in Vietnam and lived in Africa before meeting her father in Tunisia. Her father, whose roots are a mix of French, Maltese and Italian, eventually moved to Provence, where he helped his dad run a vineyard producing red and rose wines. Isy grew up in Paris, with summers and school holidays spent in the sun-drenched south of France. There she experienced the winemaking process up close. She also loved helping her mum, grandma, and aunties in the kitchen, crafting all sorts of delicious dishes. Isy and her dad enjoyed exploring a broad range of fantastic restaurants in Paris, which further sparked her curiosity and passion for different flavors and cuisines. French cuisine profoundly influenced Isy's cooking style, but she doesn't call herself a purist, and loves putting her own spin on classic recipes - learning to cook 'a ma facon'.
