Glenn Drowns, author of Showing Poultry and Storey's Guide to Raising Poultry, 4th Edition, and his wife conserve and promote rare breeds and varieties of turkeys, ducks, geese, and chickens at their Sand Hill Preservation Center in Calamus, Iowa.
