Description
English edition. This is a story about a girl called Itiiti who feels small and clumsy and shy next to the rest of her family who are loud and tall and good at things. Itiiti doesn't think she is good at anything, but her mother tells her that she will find she as a gift of her own. Itiiti tries to do things with the rest of her family to find her gift, but she is not as good as they are at running or swimming or weaving. Finally, when Itiiti stops looking, her gift finds her and she realizes it was there all along. Melanie Drewery lives on a farm at Ruby Bay, near Nelson, where she works as a potter, artist and writer.
