Description
Maji, an ambitious and curious juvenile chimpanzee who lives in the cutoff Kyambura Gorge of Uganda along with her family and quick-witted but equally curious friends is destined for an adventure outside of the gorge. Motivated by an intriguing tale of her grandmother's life outside the gorge, Maji convinces her friends to travel with her outside of the gorge in search of a mysterious oasis called "The Valley of Wonders". Against her father's wishes, Maji and her friends sneak out of the gorge and are greeted to the beautiful sights and sounds of the African Savanna. Despite the beauty of the savanna, it doesn't take too long for trouble to find its way towards Maji and her friends. Maji must follow the spirit of her grandmother Namukasa to get herself and her friends safely to the Valley of Wonders.
