She worked in museums as a science educator for eight years, and has a MSc in communicating science, a BSc in Geophysical Sciences and a HNC in counselling. Emily is a screenwriter for CBeebies (including the science shows Tiny Wonders and Nina and the Neurons), as well as a writer of picture books and non-fiction for children and adults.

Chorkung is an artist based in Thailand. Now she works in the Monk studio as a visual development designer and illustrates children's books as part-time work. Chorkung likes to experiment with colour and characters, and this is reflected in her vibrant, friendly work.
