Focus on Flies

The housefly shares horrible habits with thousands of other two-winged insects that belong to the family of true flies. Gnats, midges, black flies, horse flies, African tsetse flies, and, of course, the most despised and dangerous member of the fly family, the mosquito. The fly has outlived the dinosaurs and adapted to life in almost every environment on earth. With it’s huge compound eyes, ability to fly, flip over and walk upside-down, it escapes even the craftiest predators.
