Using metrics to assess progress towards the Paris Agreement's Global Goal on Adaptation

This paper provides guidance to countries on the use of flexible, comparable and multidimensional metrics to report on climate change adaptation in the agriculture sectors. While contributing to the operationalization of the Paris Agreement's Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA), it also illustrates the benefits of aligning reporting efforts with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR).
