Martin Diggle's interest in racing began in childhood and has continued as part of an involvement with the horse world, which has seen his active participation in various equestrian sports, including helping to prepare point-to-pointers and Arabian racehorses. An editor by profession, he has previously worked on books related to racing by other writers, and is also the author of thirteen books on equestrian topics.
