Surfing

An insight into the fascinating sport of surfing. Divided into three parts, the book accompanied those hungry for waves along the way to becoming a genuine surfer. A short summary of the origins of surfing follows a section, written for the beginner, describing equipment, preparation and technique for taking the first steps. The second part of the book is aimed at the more experienced surfer. In addition to descriptions of the various movements there are tips and tricks to improve ability and the book concludes with important information concerning the weather, a section on travel with practical advice, "surf talk" and general information.
