Description
Dansk Design is a history book, a reference book, and a snapshot of where Danish design is now. It is about the aesthetical, about beauty, but when you look closely at the individual examples included in this extensive volume, there are almost always other factors that are behind the appearance of the objects. Design is very rarely only a beautiful surface or an attractive form. Dansk Design attempts to describe Danish design in its entirety. It captures the long Danish tradition in the fields of innovation and good, classic, design.
