When Jonathan and his schoolfriends set off on a school trip to stay at a spooky old house in the country, it all seems a lot of fun - especially as Jonathan's friend Dave, the ghost of a boy bombed 50 years before, comes along. The author also wrote "Jonathan's Ghost" and "Spitfire Summer".
