I used to be a primary school teacher, and I based the four characters of Harry, Nazreen, Krish and Lily on some of the kids I used to teach. I know we all like to read about heroes who are just a little bit naughty, a little bit cheeky and a little bit rebellious, but who are still good-hearted and kind - just like Harry, Nazreen, Krish and Lily. I'm not sure I'd enjoy being their teacher, though!
