Hugh Dellar is a teacher, teacher trainer, and coursebook writer based in London. He has over twenty-five years of experience in the field and is the co-founder of Lexical Lab. He has co-authored two five-level General English series, Outcomes and Innovations, both published by National Geographic Learning, and one level of the high-school series Perspectives. Andrew has been in English language teaching for over thirty years. He started out as a teacher in Valencia, Spain. Since then he has largely worked in colleges and universities in London but also spent four more years in Spain and conducted talks and workshops many other countries. He met Hugh at the University of Westminster and started writing with him on the series Innovations. Since then they have written several coursebook series as well as methodology books (Teaching Lexically DELTA Publishing) and Grammar Nonsense and what to do about it. After leaving Westminster in 2014 Andrew and Hugh have been running www.lexicallab.com which provides online language classes for teachers and other professional development both online and face-to-face. Andrew has a wide variety of interest outside of ELT including reading, theatre-going, dancing, gardening, playing football and politics. He currently lives in London with his wife, Nadera, and her dog.
