The Seer

"Prophets were called seers before they were called prophets. What is a seer? It is a person chosen by God to reveal things that He is doing in the present or is going to do in the future. Prophets see things before others see them. Prophets, or seers, played a prominent role in Jewish life. They were the conduits between God and man. I strongly believe that God does not want His people, be it Israel or the Church of Jesus Christ, to be in the dark about things that are happening or that are going to happen in the future. "The Church will surely be warned of the return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His people. God knows the future. He knows the end from the beginning, and throughout Bible history, He has revealed His plans and purposes through His seers. Do we have seers today?
