The Bandit

After Prometheus and his brother Epimetheus fill the world with living creatures, Epimetheus gives all the gifts to the animals and there is nothing left for man. Prometheus goes up to Mount Olympus to steal fire for mankind and incurs the wrath of Zeus. This humorous version of the Greek creation myth told in a combination of prose and verse, will delight kids of all ages. The poem aligns with Level 1 of the HOT ROD series of decodable books. The engaging and colorful artwork delights students in grades 1-3 while the subject matter and Higher Order Thinking Questions make this selection enjoyable for grades 4 and up.
