He is Professor Emeritus at Washington College, where he served as the director for nearly three decades of the school's Literary House, a bastion of literary education that Robert created, where his colleagues-including Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Toni Morrison, Edward Albee, and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists-shared their expertise and wisdom.
