Professor Aaron Verg warned the world that an environmental disaster was inevitable, but the scientific world wouldn't listen, because to do so was politically unpopular. Politics wasn't Professor Verg's only problem, someone wanted him dead. Belinda Baxter, his fiancée, hires Detective Cameron Josey to uncover the perpetrators. Although the investigation begins in Australia, Aaron is whisked away to Boston to continue his work in relative safety, but never makes it there. Instead he finds himself in Tibet, searching for mystical truths that connect to his research. Ancient myths and superstition take the science professor and the detective into the world of Buddhism and the prophecy of a secret organization called, The Observers. The investigative case and the prophecy intertwine, unearthing a conspiracy that threatens to destroy life on Earth.
